Oi Gente,
Just a quick update of our journey. We prepared an entire update with all details, but unfortunately we can not update from our computer. It has even been quite difficult to find an internet cafe to even adjust our site...
But, on the other hand, that´s the charme of this beautiful paradise where we are.
We are situated in Japaratinga, a small fisherman´s village 140 km south of Recife.
Dad Duarte rented a house there and we have a beautiful view at the beach and a blue green ocean every day when we have breakfast in our garden.
Coconuts are falling all over, fresh fruit is growing in the trees, so we are really in paradise!
We´ve been looking around in the area and we´ve seen the most beautiful places, millions of stars at night and warm and welcoming people who are always willing to help us.
We met our friends John and Linda (friends from Amsterdam) who coincidentally were in the same village as where we are. We had a good first night caipirinha party and the next day we went snorkling at the coral reefs at 1 km out of shore of Maragogi... just a dream we had. So beautiful; fish eating out of your hand (and out of John´s shorts)and the most amazing area you can imagine. And always fresh food and cold beers at hand because there were 3 bars floating amongst our boats.. can you believe it?
Yesterday we had another day with the two of us and we visited over 15 pousadas with a motor taxi driver who knew some people all around. Was great. You might hear some more soon about this trip!

We are thinking of you guys when we are lying at the beach and drink our caipi´s in the warm sun and our tropical paradise!

Vandaag een gedichtje klein, maar fijn.
Voor onze Nanda en haar Sandrijn.
Want hoewel jullie zitten in het verre Brasil,
is Sint bij jullie met hart en ziel.
Jammer dat jullie niet op mijn verjaardag zijn dit jaar.
Dan moeten die gedichten volgend jaar maar.
Sint hoopt dat jullie iets vinden dat je zal aanstaan.
Vergeet daarbij niet voldoende ruimte voor de golfbaan.
Verder begrijpt Sint uit jullie verhaal gewis,
dat het daar bij Receive behoorlijk afzien is.
Jullie proberen Sint toch niet jaloers te maken?
Ik zal dit gedichtje nu maar snel staken.
Geniet van alle moois, heel onbeperkt.
Jullie hebben er hard genoeg voor gewerkt.
Tot slot,nog proficiat met jullie Ma's.
